SLA Subsetting: Protecting the Producer
An API has a finite Capability (The Producer OpenSLA). Apiway prevents "Noisy Neighbor" syndrome by ensuring that every consumer is allocated only a specific Consumption Subset.
$$Consumption \subset Capability$$
// If Producer is 10k RPM,
// Authority grants Consumer 500 RPM.
✓ Safety Brake Engaged
Delegated Authority
Decisions aren't made by "The System"—they are made by your assigned **Authorities**. Use templates to route approvals to Security, Architecture, or Product leads.
Live Enforcement
Once approved, the **Consumer OpenSLA** is pushed to the Gateway. The Auth Server enables the keys, and the Entitlements API verifies the scopes—all in milliseconds.
